Brodzany (Hungarian:Brogyán) is a village and municipality in Partizánske District in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1293.
One of the owners – Duke Elimar of Oldenburg, husband of great Russian poet Alexandre Pushkin's niece. Now in Brodzany castle is Pushkin museum.
Geography
Themunicipalitylies at analtitudeof 192 metres (630ft)and covers anareaof 18.29km2(7.06sqmi) (2025).
