Budince (Hungarian:Budaháza) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1332. Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, it was part of Ung County within the Kingdom of Hungary.

Geography

Themunicipalitylies at analtitudeof 104 metres (341ft)and covers anareaof 1.96km2(0.76sqmi) (2025).
