Jeremy "Mush One" Mushlin is a trumpeter, composer, engineer, producer, sound system operator, and radio host who has played in reggae, ska, calypso and rocksteady bands, including The Slackers, The Scorchers, Fireproof, The Hungry March Band, Top Shotta Band, Red Hook Warriorz, and The Rocksteady Seven. Mush One currently leads Top Shotta Band featuring Screechy Dan (since 2010). Mush One also hosted the Tunnel One radio program on WNYU 89.1fm in New York City from 2001-2021, specializing in rare foundation Jamaican music. In addition, Mush One hosts the longest running all-vinyl reggae event, When Dance Was Nice, at his underground reggae villa in Flatbush, Al Paragus HQ. Al Paragus HQ also serves as a recording studio for Mush One's own projects, as well as reggae dub plate recording.
