Sonyaa Ayoddhya

Sonyaa Ayoddhya is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi television and digital media. She is known for her portrayals of Ruby in Nazar, Tanvi in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, and for her lead role in the StarPlus series Jaadu Teri Nazar.

Early life and education

Ayoddhya was born in Mumbai and moved to Auckland, New Zealand during her childhood. She attended the Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland for her elementary and secondary education. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a model and participated in international beauty pageants. In 2025, she was awarded a Diploma in Trauma Healing through The Empower Project, an initiative focused on mental health and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Career

Sonyaa made her television debut in 2018 as Ruby in the supernatural thriller Nazar. She subsequently joined the cast of the rebooted Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2019) and the social drama Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki (2020).

In 2025, she played the lead role in the Star Plus series Jaadu Teri Nazar. During the same year, she was cast in the role of Vedika in an upcoming project. In March 2025, she made her digital streaming debut in Kill Dill – The Heartbreak Club on Amazon MX Player.
