Metal Tiger (Chinese:庚寅;pinyin:gēngyín) is the 27th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Earth Ox and followed by Metal Rabbit. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, gēng (庚) represents yang and Metal, while the Earthly Branch yín (寅) corresponds to the Tiger zodiac.
